![]() Just the new formatting of the offerIDs should be enough to start games by URI. (Edit: I realized I had forgotten to test just launching the URI through Windows - and that works, too, so it doesn't need to be explicitly passed to EALauncher.exe. I haven't figured out where those various IDs and parameters are being sourced from, however. ![]() EALauncher.exe (in the same folder as the main EA Desktop executable) can be used to launch games (including automatically starting EA Desktop, if it's not running already) by passing an origin2:// URI to it, but the formatting of the offerIds parameter seems to have changed from Origin.įor example, from what I can tell the URI constructed by Playnite for Dead Space is origin2://game/launch/?offerIds=DR:105641400 (I might be wrong - this was from a glance at the code only), but the new URI used to launch via EA Desktop (stripped of everything that doesn't seem absolutely necessary - EA Desktop spits out an error with any less) is origin2://game/launch/?offerIds=1002975,1003943,1009227,1009228,deadspace_na,deadspace_eu1,deadspace_eu2,deadspace_eu3. The EA Play library comes as part of an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, offering players a chance to revisit old favourites or discover a bunch of new games they might not have necessarily. ![]()
